Connected Places is a powerful, co-designed, open-source Directory of Services (DoS) platform that helps to connect residents to local services, information, advice and communities. The product is being used in a variety of ways to serve different use cases:
The Connected Places core product consists of three main components:
API - The central interface for all applications wanting to interact with the data. This enables first and third party integrations, provides RESTful endpoints and conforms to GDS standards.
Admin - A Single Page Application (SPA) for platform administrators and data owners to use to manage data within the platform.
Frontend - A Single Page Application (SPA) for residents to use to discover, search and connect with services.
